I got poison ivy and it was still bothering me after I put cream on it. So before going to school I took it, but it made really drowsy the whole day. I would take it again, but not before going to school.

Before taking Topamax I had about 3-4 serious migraines a month--nausea, sensitivity, etc--and almost daily minor ones. Since taking it I hardly get the daily migraines and I only still get about one migraine a month due to my menstrual cycle. I have lost over 10 lbs on the drug (I am now 98-100lbs depending at 5'3") but my doctor doesn't think this isn't a major concern. There is a strange metallic taste that the user gets when using these eye drops. About 20 min. after use, thru the sinus cavity, the taste becomes apparent and stays for about 30 min. Rather unpleasant.
